travel plans

travels plans are more solid:

Thursday July 28th:
leave London early morning
change planes in Glasgow
arrive Chicago 1 PM central time
collect baggage
make way via the El to downtown Chicago (est. El travel time slightly under 1 hour according to the CTA journey planner)
take Amtrak train from Chicago Union Station, leaving 6PM Central time
arrive Ann Arbor 11:26 PM Eastern time
get to where I'm staying the night, collapse in heap.
Edit: Attn Chicago folks If this all falls over because my plane is horibly delayed and I miss my train (the last one of the night!) Is there anyone who could help me find emergency crash space? (I'll try emailing people too about this. I hope it doesn't happen!)

Friday July 29th:
hang out in A2

Saturday July 30th:
Head with family to Ludington
hang out with them there for a few days

Wednesday August 3rd:
Get from Ludington to Madison somehow
most likely route is: get someone to drive me to Muskegon, board Lake Express ferry, arrive in Milwaukee just over 2 hrs later. Somehow get from where ferry docks to nearest Badger Bus departure point, take Badger Bus to Madison.
Plans that night are to go to Inferno to see bloodlossgirl and not_eurotic DJ and dance my butt off, followed by spending the night at the lovely miss bloodlossgirl's abode.
The next few days will be spent seeing Pico, trying to go thoruhg a bit of my stuff in storage, and seeing Madison friends. Not a whole lot as to who I'm seeing when is specifically planned yet other than spending some time with the lovely blg on thursday. also expecting to see whymc. anyone else?
I will attempt to make it to the This Morn Omina show at Inferno Friday night, though I have not yet procured a ticket. I'm likely to end up at Inferno on Saturday night as well.

Sunday August 7th:
leave Madison on the Van Galder bus at a suitable time to be able to catch a 9:55 PM CDT flight from O'Hare.
As stated before, if anyone in Chicago wants to meet up for lunch/early dinner/coffee speak up so I can make plans that take into account actually travelling into Chiago for a bit before heading to O'Hare. Otherwise I shall simply plan to head straight to the airport from Madison
That flight is a direct flight at least.

Monday August 8th:
arrive London Heathrow 11 something -or-other AM , drag self to tube or if feeling particularly indulgent or exhausted to Heathrow Express train, as it now stops at Ealing Broadway station, and dpoing that short bit does only costs around 6 quid (as compared to the 20 quid they'll charge ya for taking the Heathrow Express all the way to Paddington)
Drag self on to bus the rest of the way home
